3. Entry

All participants entering France must be in possession of a valid passport. An entry (visitor's) visa is also required, except in the case of nationals of countries with special agreements. The visa can be issued by the nearest French diplomatic or consular mission. It is recommended that assistance from such missions be sought; travel agents are usually knowledgeable and helpful with such matters.

 

4. Registration of participants

All participants are requested to notify their participation as soon as possible to the Secretariat. At their arrival in Paris, they are requested to register at the reception desk situated in front of Room X on Monday 19 April 1999 in morning between 9 a.m. and 10 :00 a.m. Upon registration, each participant will receive a name badge and other documents. Participants are strongly encouraged to wear their badges during the meeting to facilitate identification.

 

5. Hospitality

There will be a cocktail party at 6 p.m. in Fontenoy restaurant (7th floor) on Monday 19 April 1999.

 

6. Opening session

The meeting will commence on Monday, 19 April 1999, at 10:00 a.m. in Room X in Fontenoy building, UNESCO Headquarters.

 

7. Schedules

Meetings will take place as follows: Mornings: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Afternoons: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Please check the schedule daily for any changes.

 

8. Meeting documents

Participants will receive meeting documents provided in English and French prior to the meeting. Participants are reminded that the Secretariat will not be able to type, translate or reproduce any documents other than those directly related to the work of the meeting such as draft resolutions, draft amendments or draft reports of the meeting.
